Ok, I got off my duff and reserved Deadwood Gulch. Laura and I are there 9/17-9/29. We will be doing some sight seeing before and after that week.

That's awesome! Cant wait to hang with you again. We are doing some add on time there after as well.

Howdy from sunny Arizona. Today was wash the Bronco day. I was cleaning off mudd from when @Bluestreak57 @Darrel and @TK1215 were here in February. IT even got it's first air filter.

I got my recall paperwork too. I looked it over closely and no where did it say "don't go to Moab" so it's all good.

I drove the Jeep to a car show yesterday morning!
Some of you have heard of the "Trail Hero" badges, maybe.
Upper Armado in Johnson Hill (Gordy's) has just been named as one. But they used the name of an obstacle on it, not the trail.
A friend shared this with me, not sure where he found it. That's Jeff on Pucker Falls. That's me standing in front of it on 1/1/26.

Good Monday Morning, Kids!
Spring Break is over here in Western Washington, and students are trudging back to their respective bus stops this morning with technology hangovers slowing their pace…. In keeping with the back to school vibe, the weather is gray and rainy and temps are running around-55°, where it seems it will hold for the rest of the day… Wet stuff will be the forecast for the week, with temps dipping enough to make some sleet or wet snow by Thursday… oh joy!

Last night at bedtime my phone rang and my two-year old grandson was calling me via Facetime on his sister’s phone while hiding from his parents in her bedroom in the Marshall Islands (19 hours ahead of PDT)… It was pretty cute, and after the second call I let his dad know what the grandson was up to… (TWO YEARS OLD!!!)

A few of y’all are in Moab this week for some off-road shenanigans, and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit jealous! Keep your wits about you, your head up, and your wheels down! Say “Hi” to Brian, Melissa, and Blake when you see them, from the homebound of Bronco Nation! @Melissa Clark @TorgSurv . “Don’t bust the crust”

If you're not careful...it's an easy trail, but it does get tight. On one of those blind corners, we encountered a jeep coming opposite to us. I was sort of on the outside...with the Colorado below. I got over as close as I could, got out, and spotted the Jeep to hug the cliff side and squeeze by. Worked out fine. Then my brother took me to the rear of my Bronco, and pointed out that my right rear tire was only half on the trail. The other half was over the Colorado!

I should have taken a picture. I did take a picture of this close call in Moab. If we happened to have come down this road, 3,478, 131,489 years ago, we might have been crushed by this boulder!

It’s true…….I added a Chicken to Chicken Corners. My chicken has a 2026 on the front side and a SlashRacer tramp stamp on the back side.

Here I am hanging my chicken on Chicken Corners. Note the way it’s attached. You might say “I choked my chicken at Chicken Corners”.

I know exactly what you’re talking about!!!
A couple of us even went to the end of the trail, took the cliffs ledge around the backside where most people have never seen before.
Just amazing views!!!
