I've read the posts, and I continue to scoff. If it's a marked vehicle, it should be a capable vehicle. Otherwise, leave it white with something like "Boston Police Community Services" or something. Parking officers go around in little Chevy EVs, which makes perfect sense.
If I'm going after somebody, I want some horsepower. I've lost a few pursuits, but won most of them. Including chasing down a Harley on the Mass Pike at 120 (he gave up). And I corralled a BMW M-something-or-another in Allston driving the patrol wagon, an F-250 with a big box.
Sometimes I do miss the job.
I've T-boned a few a##holes during my career to end a pursuit! 😁
The Ford Bronco Sport is used by law enforcement and government agencies primarily as a light-duty, versatile patrol or administrative vehicle, offering 4x4 capability and rugged styling in a compact footprint. While not typically used for high-speed pursuits due to its 1.5L or 2.0L engine options, its features make it suitable for park rangers, community policing, and detectives.
VERY light duty. As in donut runs. I once heard someone refer to the Bronco Sport as a "Broncette," and a YouTuber once called it "a Ford Escape in drag." 😝
Chris here. I drive "Lebowski," a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford BroncoBadlandsSasquatch. Lux package. 2.7L V6. Automatic transmission.

Howdy from sunny Arizona. Today was the first time I removed my front roof panels and drove it.
I've never taken the top off. Mostly because I have the factory roof rack and I have add 3 boxes, tools, recovery, and air hoses. Along with shovel and traction boards. So r&r would be a pain.
But today I was doing a check out for my upcoming trip to Moab. And one of the boxes needed a repair. The best way was for me to remove the panels and stand up in the cab.
After the repair Saber and I went for a ride.
Lots of wind buffeting but neat.

Good Saturday Evening, Kids
We’ve been blessed with a couple of great days weather-wise, and OB-1 got his first washing of 2026… It’s almost fun to wash the cars when you can use a foam cannon… trying out some foaming soaps from Griot’s Garage, and like I said, its almost fun… The Maverick and Bronco got baths today, and the F-150 and KIA are in the queue for tomorrow…
Spent the last week trying to get my pressure washer working, as it is necessary for the foam cannon… Anyway, the PW ran fine in the fall, has never used anything but ethanol free gas, and has always started right up… No spark in new PW’s is way too complicated with low oil switches and stuff… the “you don’t get to fix this” thinking has reached small Briggs and stratton engines… You Tube gave me a couple clues, and my multi-meter made me think I had a bad kill switch… in the end i replaced the kill switch and disconnected the low oil sensor, and “Voila”, the foam cannon generator fired up and ran flawlessly… Will use a manual oil sensor that has served me well for 69ish years (“step one, check the oil”).
Have a great day, all! Hope your team makes it into the Final Four, whether men’s or women’s!
A very long ,
Overdue,
“Checking in to the Libations Crew”
A monumental task at hand,
At times has left me pounding sand.
The Project is an epic place,
But thus requires eclectic pace.
You all recall the early threads ?
A place we visualized in our heads ?
I’ll leave a hint of what I’ve found.
“A place for all of you to bound “
You see…
BRAWN county “ IT DOSE EXIST”.
You just can’t see it in the list.
More cryptic messages I fear will come.
But trust me folks I’m not quite done.
I’ll leave you one last tease to see,
a location of the destiny.
A place to gather in one place ?
The Mother Road is giving grace.

Good morning. Welcome to the 2nd 1/2 of our very short weekends.
Went to a meeting yesterday for NMOHVA. Going to another meeting today for the Rickshaws.
I got my taxes done. It was much easier this year and I'm getting money back. So, I've done something wrong. But, they will get filed in time, isn't that the point? Lol
Hope everyone has a great Sunday! Hug the ones you love!
Hi y'all, Lauri here and I am the proud owner of a MY21 Badlands, SAS, 2.7 auto, 4 door, soft top, Cactus Gray, no reservation, ordered 9/11/21, Took delivery 1/8/22!
You do realize that if the Bronco Sport wasn't made, that Ford would have to pay a tax because of the poor fuel efficiency of the Bronco. The Sport actually decreased your purchase price. You're welcome.😁
