Good Morning! I love those old posters that @Sam I Am 1966 posted. As a car freak, I remember all the car ads from the 1960’s to present. As a tween, I leaned how to drive in my Dad’s red with white grill 1966 Ford F100 with a straight 6-cylinder and manual on the steering column. It was advertised to have a tough Twin-I-Beam suspension. I have some good memories of my Dad teaching me how install new valves and grind the valve surfaces, and install new lifters and valve springs, flush the radiator, install a new thermostat and hoses, and change the belts…all at 100,000 miles for preventative maintenance. He put 160,000 miles on it before trading it for a 1972 Ford Galaxy 500 station wagon because we need a larger family car.

I’m headed out to the desert again today to do more exploring.

Have a great day everybody!
The F100's!
When I ended pregnant in year 2 of our marriage, Jeff decided we needed to trade in our '79 Ford F150 for a '65 Ford F100 with Twin I-beams. That steering wheel and my 9 month pregnant belly were a very tight fit! Those were the days.

Good morning from sunny AZ! Enjoying some coffee with Al and Sonya.
We've got a large variety of pods, help yourself.
@Micheal Grasso runs Indiana Bronco FB group and ordered knit hats with their patch on them. He gave 2 away for Valentine's. I won one. Can't wait to get it! I will wear it proudly! (The real hat won't have the heart on it).
Have a great day! Hug the ones you love!

Good Monday Morning, Kids!
Waking up to -46° and cloudy today, with the high expected to be -38°ish. Connecting for lunch with a fellow off-road friend of @Darrel ā€˜s coming down from up north somewhere… Planning to connect tomorrow with @Darrel, @Lots O Fords and @TK1215 for a run into Granite Mountain region. Easy fun with lots of beautiful vistas.

We spent a fair amount of time at ā€œGold Rush Daysā€ here in Wickenburg, visiting with vendors, looking at cool cars, watching littles enjoying a small town parade, and enjoying the warmth that AZ offers. It is a great little festival, and we had a chance to meet some fellow Spokanites at a barbeque and campfire over the weekend…. It is AMAZING how many people do this thing called ā€œsnow-birdingā€, as we have met people from Washington, Idaho, Michigan, Indiana, Kansas, and I’m sure many other places I’ve forgotten. You’ve never seen so many stalky pickups pulling horse trailers in your life… Heck, I even bought me a hat!

Have a great day, all!IMG_5354.jpeg

Au contraire, mon ami. I actually love Starbucks coffee and enjoy it daily. I was just channeling all of the small local roasters that demonize the giant, even though many of them have him to thank for their livelihood. But too much of anything is not necessarily a good thing!

I can get Starbucks in 2.5-lb bags at BJs (wholesale "club") at about $8.80/lb, which is as good a deal as I see anywhere for above average coffee. So yeah, this un-wokester will send his $$ to $eattle.

@Bluestreak, this old fossil has driven most of the original Rte 66, (including the Chicago and Santa Monica ends) and actually hitchhiked parts of it "back in the day." To add to my brag, I've traveled 46 states, hitchhiked in 31, hopped trains in two, and been arrested in three. I've been asked, or suggested, "Since you like to travel, why don't you do Europe? Or Africa, or Asia...?" My answer: "I just might--as soon as I'm through with North America!"

Enjoy the Grand Canyon State!

We are having a great time hanging with @Bluestreak57 and then we even got some bonus time with @Darrel and @TK1215 (missed not seeing Jovi).

Our trip yesterday was more about the surrounding area than challenging trails. We did run in to a film crew for some offroad adventure channel. We got to show off our "Box Canyon", see some present day prospecting claims, and we were even able to show them all the restaurants that are closed on Tuesdays.

Al convinced (pestered) Lauri that she needed to try the side-by-side once we got back. So a quick run out back of the house, complete with hills, wash and canyon, and she was definitely enjoying it, especially once she got behind the wheel. Al, followed in the other one and I think he's getting hooked.

Good morning! Got back home after 6 days away. 2 semis overturned on I40 between Gallup & Grant's. Wind picked up a few hours before I got home.
My cats were happy I was home, they were needing treats really bad.
As I was driving down the road to turn on my street, I noticed my huge tumbleweeds in the back yard were gone and tumbleweeds all over the yard. What I didn't see were the concrete blocks that Jeff stacked and made a 1/2 wall around part of our patio were knocked over. Only a portion. Those blocks were stacked there about 15 years ago. 1st time any have been knocked over.
And this onboarding crap for my new job is full time work for no pay. They want W2's from an employer from 2010 - 2013. The company they are doing the background check for purchased this employer in 2013. But after an hour to get into the IRS website, the IRS doesn't even have W2s back this far, that I could find, unless I fill out a form. I
'm kind of expecting to flunk the onboarding.
Hope everyone has a great day! Stay warm if your in an area getting weather today. Hug the ones you love.
