That reminds me of a scene from a Bob Hope fluff movie, "I'll Take Sweden," back before Sweden went crazy (early Sixties?). It had Tuesday Weld (Yum!) and Frankie Avalon, who sang a number by a Swedish lakeside marina.

Summer is when your constantly +10, not just a couple days. For many outside native folks hot is +11 - 19. F'n hot is +20 and above. luckily those are just a couple days. Planes stop taking off at +18.
Now remember, that "in the shade" temperature. I have measured temp, in a locked up car at +40. That's when you have to tap the steering wheel to turn it, cuz its to hot to hold. Chrome door handless, remember them? Couldn't touch them.
our shop is a comfortable -5.
Of course people that are always inside think its f'n hot at -10

I saw a photo in the news the other day. A first responder holding up a sign saying "stop hiking in the heat" Seems they are constantly rescuing folks that, don't have enough sense to get out of the sun. Some times its just recovery and not rescue.

As for me, I have no idea how people deal with cold and snow.

I'm headed to Sidney Montana this afternoon to spend a couple hours helping the Montana Veterans Meat Locker hand out some meat and hang out with the founder and his crew. I've been working with them since they started in 2017 and can't wait to do something normal rather than be a damn lab rat.
