As some of you have snow and some rain. I thought I would share something I saw today near my office.
Oh those tumbling tumbleweeds.
If you zoom in on one of the photos you can really see the build up that covers the fence.
All those brown looking bushes are tumbleweeds.

We have pile ups of tumbleweeds here too.

Good Taco Tuesday Morning, Kids!
After a bit of snow last week, an atmospheric river is pouring though from Hawaii this week, bringing lots of rain and likely some flooding around us. Nothing historic, but likely some will get some water where they don;t want it.

Chilaquillas are ready and waiting, just order your eggs the way you want them. Coffee this morning is freshly ground Cache Coffee Espresso Roast from a little veteran-owned shop in Logan. Really stout stuff!

I learned early in my teaching career to never anticipate the answer to a question… kids never ceased to amaze me…

If the question was what I did in education, I spent six years teaching most shop classes, then moved into administration, serving 31ish years as a principal, superintendent, or combination of the two.

I checked my bank account yesterday afternoon, I got paid! I got paid a lot, at least from my perspective.

The Gray continues to dominate the weather here on the left coast, with temps hovering around -45° so as to be not too uncomfortable. Might have a couple dry days next week, but for the most part this is what Spring in Western Washington entails… Thinking next year we will spend TWO months in the Arizona sun, although @Lots O Fords ‘s +5 is a bit warm for me, although his pool looks very inviting.

Made a run to Costco yesterday so Kirkland Colombian is brewed and ready for those needing a second cup.

It's Saturday! Aaaahhhhh! Good morning! I made a pot of coffee, help yourself. I'm not saying it's good, but it is caffeine.
I went on a date last night. He is a member of NM4W. I met him at the COL Car Show last May. And we've been on the same trail rides several times since. I didn't know it was a date until he told the waitress. Lol. We have a lot in common and we talked for over 2 hours. But, he has a lot of health issues which terrifies me. And he is a 2 hour drive away.
I'm going on a hike tomorrow with the 2 girls that I went to Denver with in January. I'm really looking forward to that.
Hoping you all have a great day and you get out and have fun or get shit done. I need to be in the 2nd category today.

Last night was a concert at the flying E ranch. An outside very western theme place with Tracy Bird, tonight is a car show where we'll take something. Evening Temp, 20 below.

This weekend is Luke days. Our Air Force base air show. My yard (equipment yard) is close and we have been able to see some cool stuff. The blue Angels practicing, big boys being flown in as well as vintage. Took the photos from my yard.

It’s Saturday, and the sun is trading time with the clouds, and it is a balmy -49° here in the “Upper Left Coast”…

Was just watching “The Madison” with Sonya (great cinematic treatment of Steve’s Montana) @Sven , and the sixth episode features a couple in a 6G Bronco, Big Bend, Area 51, with the top off… The passenger appeared to be hunched over and vomiting in the driver’s lap (shot from above), but Sonya laughed and said that’s not what was happening (at highway speed, but I digress)… then the fair maiden plopped herself into the driver’s seat backwards, with the driver still in it and peeking around her to navigate the highway… I’m so confused… Then of course a County Mountie showed up and set them straight… whew…

I do want to clarify stuff. I believe I heard on the news that we're having a heat wave.
Let me s'plane. Zero clouds. Pool temp -12. Air temp +6, beer temp -56.
Day one of pool day. Sure way to clog pool filter is have dogs shedding winter coat jump in the pool.
And as we have almost no humidity, getting out of the pool, not using a towel to dry off, your dry in about 4 minutes.
When Louise got out she complained about being cold because how fast the water evaporated (Note that you must get out to get another beer)

Anyway two ways to look at it. 1, extreme heat wave or 2, pools open and beers cold...
