Good Thursday Morning, Kids!
We are still here in the PNW, though some have threatened to float away… Record-breaking floods have everyone in a bit of a twitter…

As for us, we have the Wallace River just North of us, and May Creek just south, and both are at near-record levels…
The first video recounts a water rescue about 1/2 mile from our house, and the second is a normally tame waterfall about 20 miles away…. Good times!

And I'm excited about this...since I get to keep my big toe, I just got rescheduled for the Bronco Off Roadeo on January 23rd. Have any of you done the Off Roadeo?

Did Off Roadeo last April in Mt Potosi, outside Vegas. Raptor Valley. The training you get in one day will last a lifetime. They go over every setting and when it’s proper to use them. They have you wheeling in weird positions to show just how stable these vehicles are. Well worth the day. Enjoy!!!

The rains have relented and now the cleanup in Western Washington begins… Some folks further north (all the way into Southern BC) are evacuated still, and MANY roads remain impassable this morning… Sending warm thoughts and prayers to those who remain in harm’s way or who have suffered significant losses…

This week’s flooding reminded me that @Deano Bronc had some family in North Carolina whacked a year ago by a hurricane, I believe (or the remnants of) and it made clear how long and slow the recovery process is for people long after the news crews depart… I’m sure we‘ll be mucking out this mess for months or years to come…

Hold those close to you closely, and reach to those who need a hand… Kindness and generosity are needed these days.

Good morning. I know it is Saturday, I think. It is Christmas party day! Have a car show this morning at a coffee shop. Then a car club Christmas party for lunch (just a salad for me). Then a Christmas party with NM4W, this will be a pot luck with the club providing the meat. Person hosting it is said to be excellent at grilling/smoking meat. I can't wait.
Prayers ti those affected by flooding and other weather and health stuff. Hug the ones you love and be kind.

Beautiful day on the trails yesterday. Just north of Grrant's. Mt Taylor was not doable according to the trail leader, so we just did mesas. And there was some snow. But a lot of fun and great group of people.
