Happy Wednesday Kids,
Schools will likely release early today and the roads in the PNW are already PACKED with crazy-folk heading to Grandma’s house for Thursday’s feast, nap, and possibly drama…

Sonya and I will celebrate quietly with a small ham and fixings that should keep us in victuals through the weekend…

We are so thankful for the life we have, and the friends and family that fill us up in so many ways. A big part of the “filling” we feel is a result of the friendships found here on BN, online and when we do have a chance to meet up IRL…

LOL, they must be looking for that elusive lower cost of living. But as my friend said "yeah, but it's in AZ". LOL Seriously, AZ is lovely ... and has a lot of beautiful spots to 4-wheel, that's for sure. I just like the beach too much to ever leave. Besides, if I ever did get a lower cost of living, I'd just spend the extra money on Bronco parts!

Seriously, I read a business article that points out that Florida is now just as expensive to live in as the Northeast, and some people are moving back to the "Acela Corridor"* to be closer to family and grandchildren.

Big News! My younger of two sons (#3 out of 4) is the first to buy his own home, admittedly with some of his Dad's resources. He's the Marine, which says something, now working civilian USAF. Still, I have 4 adult kids who came out well educated, well-adjusted, psychologically healthy, employed, without "issues" or "background things."

*The "Acela Corridor" is the US's one somewhat successful attempt at a high-speed bullet train, which connects Washington DC to Boston--the heart of the liberal Northeast. It's fastest speed is a little over 100mph, for a short distance in--ironically--Rhode Island! Elsewhere, curves, congestion, other railroad activity, and curves restrict its speeds.

LOL ... seriously, we have friends that moved to Florida and can't wait to get the heck out of there. It's not the politics so much, it's the storms. They have gone through two hurricanes and have had enough. Not that other places don't have their weather issues, but for them, that was enough.

California has a lot of beautiful places and some places have very nice non-stop good weather.

Good morning! Sorry I didn't get on here yesterday to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving, but hopefully you understand.
I haven't done anything embarrassing....yet. Yeah me!
We had Thanksgiving at Moab Brewery, which is under new management now. I think about 30 total. Both NM4W and MHJC are all getting along well. I will post pics when I can grab one off NM4W.
Getting ready to head out. Carne is in the crock pot. Should be a great pot luck tonight.
