A few weeks ago some of us were in Colorado enjoying the mountains.
The last couple days I've been enjoying the mountains in Switzerland. Problem is that there's no 4-wheeling on them. Just don't seem right.
No bears either

Happy Saturday all! Where I am staying, there is only instant coffee. I have been having Nescafe Gold and it isn't bad. I have had worse.
My oldest son made it to Indianapolis last night. It was good to be with both of them, but there was a huge void in our family unit. I get 2 days with being with both boys, and I will treasure that.
Our site seeing plans for Philly are not going as planned. Museums are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday was site seeing day. And Liberty Bell may be closed, with the government shutdown. But restaurants are open.

Today was 6 months ago. I managed to not remember until a friend sent me a text tonight.
I did spend the afternoon and the whole evening with both my boys. We had a great day walking around Indianapolis and hanging out at a bar.
Missing Steve too. The Saturday cartoons and WY updates.

What a fun weekend if you’re a sports fan…. Baseball playoffs, Soccer games, LOTS of football, and here in the PNW we even had SUNSHINE! Woohoo…

Would be interested in knowing when the last time there was no undefeated team in the NFL after five weeks… Just goes to show what parity in the NFL does in terms of “any given Sunday.“ Hated seeing the Seahawks lose a close one but it was thrilling to watch Baker Mayfield work his magic…

Anyway, not a lot else to report from Western Washington, except the skies have cleared up as the smoke from fires is pretty much staying East of the mountains… Hoping alol are having a great weekend…

Magnificent weather this year's October, so grab every mile you can.
I was up in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom for "the-Pilgrimage.com," about 200+ off-road rigs of every make and description. I could do only one day, but merged with a group who were doing the toughest trails. At 52,000 miles, I finally swapped out my OEM Goodyears (had 4/32 inch tread left, hate to see that go to waste!), but with the new KO2s, plus Bronco engineering, and (so immodest here!) my off-road skills, I handled everything, even stuff that challenged a very high-lifted YJ on 38s (Maybe 40s?).

Hi everybody! Still alive and kicking.
Drove into Lancaster PA yesterday with my oldest son. We spent the night with a friend of mine that just moved there from Abq.
Today we went into Philly. Just in the outskirts. Walked around Morris Arboretum and then went over to Rittenhouse town. My friend is 82 years old and she gets around real good.
Heading back to Indianapolis tomorrow by myself.

Good Wednesday Evening, Kids!
Fall is definitely settling in here, with a beautiful sunny day but only climbing to about -25 for a high…. Looks like a few days of rain coming, which will help the wildfire fighters a bunch!

Chatting tonight with my neighbor whose mother (older widow who we try and keep an eye on and keep her grass cut) is in the hospital with a pretty serious ulcer…. Hopefully she’ll be back home on Friday sometime, but she’s down to barely 100 lbs and we’re pretty concerned… If you talk to the Man Upstairs you might ask for a little help for Marie…

Traveling next week for @Sven ’s Celebration of Life in West Yellowstone on the 18th… Looking forward to meeting his sister Kay and his brother, as well as friends and acquaintances from his many years in West… and will have a chances to spend some time with Sonya’s sister in Rexburg…
