Try owning a boat. The two happiest days in a boat owner's life: the day he buys it, and the day he sells it.

Don't get me going about owning a Squatched Bronco. Latest indulgence: Suma mirrors with turn signals in the glass. All the install demos have OEM plug & play inside the mirror housing. But not the Bronco, not even the Lux trim! So we'll run a wire from the mirror, through the arm, down into the engine bay and search for the wire(s) which run to the turn signal(s).
So next year, somebody will come out with a motorized aftermarket side mirror arm, and I'll think, "That would be awfully handy out on a tight trail...." And when I park on the street, I can just motorize them to the closed position, and avoid sideswipe damage... Only $659 a pair, so why not?

If the trail is really tight the problem will take care of itself. LOL

Those pictures sure make you wonder who actually won the Pacific war.

When you look at the treaty, Japan has not been able to spend a lot on their military. So, they spend it elsewhere. I don't like it. Looks too congested. I like open space, and not seeing many neighbors!😂

Happy Taco Tuesday Morning! I put out Pacific Bold pods. We did hit +1° yesterday. Only -3° today.
I applied for spousal survival benefits with SS. I get that for 1 year, as long as I make less than a certain amount. Oh and give them a copy of my marriage license and Jeff's W2 for years he doesn't have any reported income (wth?).
And signed papers with my lawyer to change the deed on the house to me with "deed upon death" to my sons.

Yo, Henry. Missed being part of the shenanigans and have read that “a lot” of life has happenened. Missed you and the rest of the crew more… especially since it felt I was winging things alone quite a lot while I was away.

I’m really hoping to spend more time again on the forums… Things could be better but am making sure to hold on. Work is still what it is and doing more with less is really becoming a mathematical impossibility — where I’m at anyway.

But am working to take care of me. In fact, I’ll be heading to BOR TN on June 30 - the last day I can attend. 😂 Any insider info in these forums about what to do after will be appreciated. 🙂

That is definitely not possible here (not seeing neighbors)… a wonderful place to visit and experience, but I could never live here…
