@Bluestreak57 Now why do you go to AI when you got all of us to guide you true?
My solution for my Badlands was the iAG removable steps. They come off easily enough for off-roading and rock crawling. I specify "Badlands Sasquatch" because they clamp on to the rock rails. Other models may not have rock rails, or the right ones for the iAG to attach to.

They also come in half-moon for each door, 2-door or 4-door. I recommend a full-length step because they help keep rocks from hitting the doors.

I just re-checked the OP's image @Bronco1973 of his OBX, no rock rail, no rock rail. Bronco1973 do you expect to do off-roading, trails with obstacles, something more than forest and BLM-maintained dirt roads? Give us a few specifics, what you think you need, but also consider that you may take your Bronco to more off off-road places than you anticipate right now. (Happened with me.)

Check out Members Market place on this and Bronco6G.com. Post your own "wanted" listing, see what people are offering. For example, listed recently in Ohio somebody has a pretty heavy set of step-sliders for a 4-Door at a pretty decent price:

Bear in mind, if you go for heavy-duty sliders, the drop-down of the step won't be much, as part of its purpose is to slide over rocks and obstacles, and thus protect the pinch seam where the truck body meets the chasis. There's a lot out there, aftermarket + 2nd-hand. You don't have to limit yourself to Ford-sourced.
