How Are Gas Prices Affecting Your Bronco Time?????

The pain at the pump is for real right now. How are you adjusting with your Bronco? Are you taking fewer daily drives or changing your off-roading plans? Do you fill up the tank or add so many gallons/dollars at a time?

No real changes in my plans, gas isn't quite as expensive here in Arkansas as some other places. Filled up yesterday at $4/gallon.

The most I've paid recently was $4.99, and with the smaller tank, it didn't feel as painful as filling up a 4-door might, but I have been more aware of bunching errands together.

My area isn't great for off-roading, and I already don't get to do that enough unless I'm on a work trip, so I will still keep any opportunity I can for that. We've got some Bronco events a few hours from my home in the next couple months, and I'll go to everything I can.

I don't adjust my driving mode or anything; I see people mention Eco in FB groups, but I fight to override what that mode does, so I leave it in Normal. I think I've only tried it a few times back when the Bronco came out and didn't like it.

robust 10-12 miles a gallon. Doesn't stop me or change my plans. Only live once, if you do it right once is enough!b6.jpg

Now that I work from home and Darryl just sits in the Garage I don’t need to change much, but I did fill last week and thought I was back in Baja for a minute, and that price was in Pesos.

I have a gas question. In 2022 or 2023 a barrel of crude was $133 and gas was in the $5 range. Last week a barrel of crude dropped to $87 a barrel, and gas rose 5-7¢ a gallon to the $5 range. Why?

To answer the original question the increase does not affect putting gas in the Bronco or the F-150 for me. Reminds me of the old boat saying, if ya can't afford the gas don't buy the boat.

My Bronco's 20.8-gallon gas tank always easily racks up nearly $100 every time I fill it up with the low fuel light on. Every time I hold the pump and watch the meter climb like crazy, I silently chant, "It's all about the SPG... Can't put a price on happiness, right?" 😭
