This was at the very beginning of what the map called Jack Knife trail... about one mountain range west of Ola Idaho and North of Squaw mountain....

this was the trail to Jack Knife, squaw mountain road which is an easy two track.

A few spots of off camber... Probably want at least 33s and skid plates.

There were a few spots where you were pushing brush on both sides of the vehicle and I would have some racing stripes if it were not for a quality coating of PPF...

and 19 water crossings.. nothing deeper than 12 inch. Except of course the deep mud pit at the beginning of Jack Knife.... Just because you can see some tracks on the other side does not mean the mud was as deep when they went through....

LOL

The trail is parallel to but east of Big Flat road....

I have to know how you got out of that mud in the first picture 😂

Because there was absolutely nothing to attach a winch to in front or behind.... You have to dig.....mud hole extraction.jpg

I think I carried about 500lbs of rock about 100 yards. Nice to have my winch accessories bag to fill with rock.

Of course you are doing this all blind because the "liquid" mud keeps back filling covering everything.... so you build the "ramp" by feel while up to your shoulder in the mud.
