Good day, Bronco Nation!

Just as a little fun, below is a link to an order configuration survey that compiles a database used to analyze how we have all configured, ordered, or purchased our Broncos. Please take the time to submit and share. Cheers!

Of Note: I ran a query against Ford's website for a list of all dealers by state and have uploaded it to this survey. If you happen to see one missing, please let me know and I will have it added. However, if it is missing on this survey, it is not listed on Ford's website. I have also have a query on production numbers by plant & model. Check out that page to see how production numbers are rolling over time!

Analysis Project
Overtime, I hope we begin to paint an interesting picture of everyone's experience, in addition to drawing some patterns that we might not have thought of or have considered otherwise. There will be several layers to this and it will include data sources outside of this survey as well (Ford dealer ratings, etc.). Part of the goal is to analyze orders by timeline, geography, dealership, options, price, ADMs, and more. The more data we collect, the more accurate this report will become.

UPDATE (7/20/22):

Excited to announce an all new page! I have now queried and added in all production data from Ford Motor Company (source: shareholder.ford.com). I know people view this data in forums as screenshots of Ford press releases, but this is much better ;) This is just a start - I will be working on adding in sales data, too.

Year; Quarter; Month filter added to view by specific time periods
Model & Plant selector filters at top to narrow down to specifics - Bronco Sport is up there!

UPDATE (7/30/22):

Out of request, I have made a couple updates that I will also place in the original post:

Survey Update Form now has the options to update the following:
1. Dropped Options
2. Your Bronco's Name!
3. Added Options coming soon
On the 'Order Configuration Analysis' page, you will now see a scrolling list of all Bronco Names submitted along with a total of like submissions - does someone else out there have the same name for their Bronco as you!?

I see someone else who ordered from Pompano ford FL. Curious about your build and if you’ve taken delivery?

23 outer banks, 4 door, Velocity blue, 2.7, lux package, 8/12 changed to MIC and leather. SAS, 2/6/22 order purchased off lot 1/21/23, lost bumpers, skid, tow, aux, lux. Had issue with airbag Ford bought back Outer Banks. Now have badlands, SAS, 4 door, azure, lux, leather, 2.7, MIC.

Over 220 submissions so far! Thanks again to all those who have participated.

Of the submissions, Badlands still remains the most popular model. Cactus Gray now caught up with Eruption Green - both tied in first for most popular color selected. Many that have ordered a Badlands have dropped a lot of options in an effort to get their Bronco. Still several waiting. Now, the 23MY rollover starts to begin. Look forward to seeing the new build catalogs in September, as I will be meeting with my dealer for a '23 as soon as I can get scheduled.

August production data updated. What a month for Bronco!

Because of the July shutdown at MAP, we can compare to June. June production was 12,909. August production was 15,092. A near 17% increase. Total Broncos produced up through August = 135,632

Filled out the survey and had a question about ADM. Are required dealer adds considered ADM for survey purposes? My dealer adds $199 for window tint, $299 for Vin Etch, and $299 for Protection Package and none of these are optional. I wasn't sure how the survey treats this.

As to the purchase part, I just resigned myself to the fact that an MSRP dealer tacking on $797 for things that are (generously) $100 in value add was still a good deal at the time I ordered so I just went with it. At least it wasn't a $5000 line item for dealer profit on the paperwork.

BTW - I love the analysis! Very nice work.

Hi, @Bluemach1. Good question - I wouldn't consider those ADMs. It's interesting your dealer has mandatory options, though. I would say those are ones I would greatly consider adding anyway, and not a bad deal at all.

In your updated order link, you may need to add some options for the MY23 reorder. I had some changes to my order forced because of disappearing colors and options. Just my $.02

It's been about a month since I've made any sort of tweaks to this dashboard but I have a few updates to share. As of this post we have 236 entries and 38 update submissions.

Reorganized and revised to include: "Orders by Transmission Choice" and "Orders by Package Option"

Ford Production Rates Page

Updated to include September 2022 production numbers by plant & vehicle
13,318 Broncos were produced in September (A near 12% decrease from month prior)

I'm glad I broke down and bought one off the lot because it's been a year now and your analysis is saying July 2023 before I see my actual order. We love the one we bought so much (had all the same features of the Wildtrak we ordered) that we kept our order and my husband is going to take that one. Two Bronco household lol!

I highly recommend the off-rodeo to anyone who hasn't done it. You can go even if you don't have your Bronco yet, they provide them and they give you the discount by looking up your reservation. I would probably have never taken it rock crawling, if I hadn't gone, and now we go all the time - so much fun!

Haha. At least you have a Bronco to enjoy while you wait, and nothing wrong with a two Bronco household! Is the one you bought off the lot a WildTrak as well? What colors did you go with on both?

I am about at the year mark now and was really surprised to get an October production date (loaded out Badlands with MIC top). The estimated time is really hit or miss with the dealer allocation portion of Ford's algorithm. I would say the average should start to become 1-1.5 years, especially with the current production rates.

Ford did such an incredible job with the Off-Rodeo experience. I attended NH in May of this year. Absolutely incredible. Not only a great learning experience behind the wheel but so much fun as well.

I need to check my updated delivery timetable. I’m at 14 months with no delivery date. Dealer only has 35 my23 allocations with 68 orders…. I’m in the top 5-10 as far as time stamp goes. Hoping to have it maybe around April? Wildtrak HD Bumper, Hardtop, highpkg
