You aren't the only one! This has been noted...a dark mode would be nice. Not currently available, but hopefully we'll see it in the future.

I'm not an expert, but I think we need to have a cookie deployment. Don't cookies help pages load more quickly? Either way, I'm always in the mood for cookies. More ?????????????, please. :geek:
I'll supply the milk.
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

It’s not having what you want. It’s wanting what you have.

So in the old version, you could could tag somebody in your posts by type @... (and then a little dialog box would pop up with member names that you could select from).

Is that functionality still available? When I try to take someone, I don't get any kind of dialog like that.

It's not there as of now but it's the same forum platform so I'm sure it will be back once the team has ironed out the kinks. You can still @mention someone. As Long as you have the username correct it will register the mention.

I just did a search of NT Automotive and found all there posts back to January. I think the problem is that unless you look you won’t just find threads. The average user won’t just stumble across their threads, posts or products. The visibility for information is very restricted at this point in time. For this roll out, what the average person who has been using it wants, is to have a seamless transition, same look and feel, same navigation, and the added enhancements. Out of the gate. The only way that could have happened is if this was a new site starting from the ground. I can only ask for peoples patience with this. It is being built and integrated with the old site at the same time.

Hey come on @TK1215. That's kind of a cheap shot but I do appreciate you looking at our profile and trying to help. Obviously we searched our old threads and we shared our issues the last couple days on here with screenshots to prove our experience. We also understand rolling out anything new is always never fun. I've done same with products, programs, software etc.

Re-cap of the issue that was most unsatisfactory with the new site;

1. Through yesterday we've been most frustrated with the new site over the fact that our old threads and more importantly the original links associated with them either didn't work or have been amended with a "-t" at the end to make them work which MIGHT mean the old links without the "-t" at the end may no longer work.

2. When we would click our old thread links they didn't work. Laura helped with one of them but it required a "-t" be placed at the end of a certain part of the link to view it again (cumbersome, confusing and renders previous thread links we've pasted elsewhere on the old site essentially useless & non-existent). Again, from what I understand without the "-t" threads from the old site "do not exist" per the pictures I previously posted.

3. I did just check another link that I asked Laura to help with and while I never heard back from her...the "-t" is now on that thread too as of today. And yes, like you stated, the thread works if you go directly to it on my postings history. At this point it appears old threads and postings are active BUT we're still not sure if those same threads we pasted elsewhere without the "-t" from the old site still work. Do they or no?

The old thread link issue (requiring a -t) is being addressed and will be corrected in an upcoming patch. This should ease these concerns!

Thanks Laura! I was trying to use the old app. Can you be more specific as to where I can find “Download App” in the menu? I am unable to find it. Thanks again.
We removed it, because it was only on desktop's nav. Chris says he sees the banner on the bottom of the site that prompts you to add it on mobile, and he gave me this how-to as well. Unfortunately, you have to either catch the banner or add it through your browser; I don't have a direct link I can give or similar.

I was trying to see if I could find your posts. The only way I could do it is if I used the search magnifying glass. But I knew where to look. The average person on the site wont find anything related to you unless there is a new post or they know where to look. There needs to be a redirect feature that is easier to find. I was looking for the “How To” videos and couldn’t find them. EDIT: Ahh, I see the confusion. I was actually responding to Matt’s post and just made a new entry instead of replying.

Thanks Laura. Do you know about how long we'll need the "-t" or I suppose the better question is the "-t" only temporary?

Maybe it’s my phone but the 3 lines next to magnifying glass is half off the screen.
I use to be able to click forums and then pick new, trending, watched. How do I get to watched threads?
How do I get to bookmarks?

It should display more like this:

Are you on iPhone or Android, and what browser do you use?

If you want to check out the new posts, go to What's New, and you can filter by latest posts, latest profile posts, trending, and your news feed.

We haven't brought over bookmarks at this point, but we're continuing to make rolling updates. We have a thread of known issues right here, and I'm updating them as we go. We'll have another big push early next week.

This is what I see iPhone Safari.
I do see trending but not watched threads.
Thanks

Thanks for the screenshot and details, @Bbrown728. Safari does seem to be having some issues; I'll take it to the team. Watched threads went along with bookmarks; we don't have them here at this point.
