Are we up and running?

(Tap Tap) Hey! is this thing on? I keep getting kicked out and have to login again.

Seem to be getting randomly logged out, and posts go from locked, to unlocked, to “you do not have enough permission to post reply,” to 404 page not found, etc. etc. For example… for some reason I don’t have permission to post in the thread @Laura made on Friday. And when I refresh the page it just logs me out.
Feels like there is a sync job in the background database or something that hasn’t quite finished syncing.

I'm having the same issues with logging in. I've tried multiple times through both the desktop app and the mobile app. What I'm seeing is that I'm logged out when I first go to the site, I sign in and it doesn't kick back any errors that the sign in was unsuccessful, but then I'm not actually signed in. The bottom of each thread says you must login to post. I just tried in Incognito mode in my Chrome browser and logged in successfully. That is how I'm posting this comment. So I suspect this is an issue with cookies that were retained from the old site. I'm going to delete all cookies relating to this website, try logging in again, and see if that makes any difference.

The login issue seems to be quieting down, but the site seems to me to be running painfully slow. Im assuming that will change once folks are done changing things in the matrix. ?

I can confirm that, as of right now, the removal of all previous cookies for this website has fixed the issue with preventing login/getting logged out every time you switch to a different thread. But I am now seeing the issue that Mal is reporting. Significant load times (30+ seconds) as I try to navigate around. It seems like maybe threads that I have already visited are loading faster than ones I have not.

I like the new library of emoticons. Still too early to say if this is New Coke or Coke Classic. ?

The new architecture is trying to trip me up a bit , so I’ll be walking a bit.

So far I’ve been on for 10 minutes,
Buffering for 9 of them.

I feel like the changes to “What’s New” are a big regression. I primarily used that section to browse and interact with the forums without having to go in and out of all the sections. Now I’m only see 5 or 6 links. I liked the paginated view a lot more.

Took forever to load and 6 minutes to log in. Deleted original cookies. Didn’t help. Using Safari on iPhone 13 pro.

I didn't want to be the one to say it, but sure seems like BN used the Ford web masters for the redesign here. Like others are saying, it's not taking forever to get here. Some times you log in, other times it times out. Not off to the best start ?

Yep. Frustrating. May wait a few days until some stability

This is something that was mentioned weeks ago so I know it is on their list to do. I used the "New Post" button a lot because I didn't want to go through each section.

Yes me too. Keep getting kicked offline. Also can't locate any of the 600+ old messages in our profile history. So far liking the simple design of the old site better than the new. Navigation tools also seems is lacking as well. Hoping the bugs get fixed soon

It was slow this am but is speeding up for me. I really like it so far. Thanks for all the hard work!

1. Can we remove the four advertising tiles from the top of the What’s New section in mobile? I have to scroll two full pages just to find the start of the What’s New Section.
2. How do I tag someone in mobile? The @ character is no longer invoking the user name list. Does this work @Laura.
Edit: I can still tag a user using the @ symbol, but the user list no longer appears in mobile. So if I’m not sure of the spelling, I may tag the wrong person.

Load times and log in issues seem to be stabilized now. If this persists, please let us know!

The ad tiles here will be removed soon. The @ functionality still works, but the user list no longer appears (we're aware of this). I'll check to make sure this is added to the road map to re-implement.

I thought the app was going away.
