A larger Bronco imagined, but still no third row seating

The 2nd Gen body style is my favorite Bronco, and many owners of the 2nd-5th reminisce about their roomier interiors. The Autopian imagines what it would be like to get a larger Bronco using the current Ranger platform. It's kind of hideous (in my opinion), but it's a fun read.

Agreed...I love my anvil/refrigerator on wheels just the way it is!

Is it white and does a light come on when you open the door?

The author has a great sense of humor. Cool renderings, if nothing else. 😜
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

The easy button to do this would be just to bring in the Everest

A two door version of that would be fun. I would think that would slot in between the Sport and the 6G

Friend of mine had 4th gen Eddie Bauer Bronco, 300 cu in and manual box, what a blast to drive. Inside was downright cavernous compared to the CJ I was used to.

I've got a gen 5 & 6. The 5 looks way bigger.
Park them side by side and not much difference. The 5 has more room behind the rear seat and feels wider.
Compare to my Expedition XL they are small inside..
As much as I love a V8, I'm sorry to say that the 351 V8 in the 5, is a slug compared to the Eco boost V6.

I've wheeled them both and the 6 is the clear winner. Yet I'm keeping my gen 5 cuz I like it.

Put twin turbos on that 351. Apples to oranges.
