Ford will not honor claims. I filed a claim for water stains on my seat when they get wet. Ford Surface Care denied my claim because I didn't report it within 3o days of the stain. I guess I shouldn't have tried to clean it myself. Ford is showing they are more and more of a RIP OFF company every year!!!!! I am beginning to see why my stock shares are tanking. Ford SUCKs these days.

I’m curious as to the events that caused the seats to get soaked? Top off rainstorm or water fording incident?

You got me... I'm sure my explanation will be used to deny ALL other claims now.

I am only curious because my hard top has leaked a couple of time in a heavy downpour. I have the MGV and washout floors though. And the only time my panels have come off is when I am doing maintenance on the seals. Totally sucks though. It’s a freaking soft or removable top. The bottom line is the seats should be able to deal with it. By chance have you tried reaching out to Ford directly? Sometimes it is the dealership making the call and not wanting to push the issue because of laziness.

It could be the quick drying of the summer sun. Outside of that area that drove through that's storming, its still summer elsewhere. So I let the sun dry it out, the only thing I can think of that keep causing the residue to rise.

Yes I called the Surface Care Protect line, then after the denial I called the ESP line. They told me to call................... Surface Care Protect. I initially file the claim through my dealership, but my advisor kept telling me they are slow responding, so I called.
