Hello new brono owner here, I apologize if I've posted this in the incorrect place ( please relocate if so ) last week I had bad wind storm where I live at in DFW area and one of my OEM taillight got smashed so I called ford for a replacement and a 1,200$ quote later ( just for the driver side tail lamp ) here I am. I have already had to replace the rear glass due to the same storm so a 1,200$ tail lamp is not in the budget at the moment, I've been looking at aftermarket assembilies in particular the oracal flush mount or the form brand lights I dont want to install low quality / nasty looking lights on my pretty bronco any thoughts, concers or input would be greatly appreciated. I have added a image of what she looked like when i drove her off the lot on September of 2024

My driver-side flush mount Oracle tail light went out after 14 months. Oracle still replaced it, but others have had the same problem. You can find affordable OEM replacements on eBay. If my Oracle lights go out again, that's what I will probably do.

I think Al ( @Bluestreak57 ) had the same issue.

Huh... wonder if they have some quality issues.

Guy I met at a recent cars and coffee also had the same problem. Noticed it as I was pulling it in, so felt like I should let him know. "Yeah I know... this will be the third replacement" was his response. Apparently, he's had two taillights and a headlight all go out... all Oracle. Didn't think much of it at the time, just assumed he was super unlucky. But now I'm wondering if it's a larger issue.

There are lot of reports of issues with Oracle lights over at B6G forums.

To make a short story long....

I got the lights early into production, and they didn't really have instructions for the forscan update done correctly. I wrote the correct documentation and published it to the B6G thread. When I contacted customer support for help when my light went out, they sent me my own instructions back to troubleshoot the problem.

It didn't leave a great impression that they mass produced these lights that required forscan updates, but then not give users the proper instructions to make them work.

Oracle replaced my out of warranty drivers taillight after determining which production lot they came out of… they went back to the manufacturer (not oracle) and were able to replace the one they sent me, so it was obviously a known issue… I have had no issue with the forscan re-configuration as per the oracle install videos…

I think they are the best taillights out there, and I REALLY like the flush with body look… If I were buying today I would opt for the black-out version and add the amber center lights …

I took one out on a trail (misplaced tree). I replaced with one purchased from E-Bay. It's close enough to the stock LED light.
I like the look of the flush mount lights, but not the price.

Ugh. I was finishing up packing and organizing the Bronco for Moab, and wouldn’t you guess it? The passenger tail light isn’t working right. It’s a good thing I already sourced replacement OEM tail lights.

That’s 2 for 2 busted Oracle Flush Mount tail lights for me.

Maybe this is the way to go. At least they have a 5 year warranty.
