Since this is my second Bronco I'm looking for some suggestions on the Off Rodeo.
I went to and thoroughly enjoyed Moab. But since it was public lands we never really went over 25mph.
In addition to the technical work do any of the other Off Rodeos let you do any off road driving, a little sideways would make me happy!

Thanks for you input!

Tennessee was great. Challenging trails through the woods and a higher speed course in the mud. Might be what you are looking for.

Utah, away from Moab, does have places where you can hit high speeds no good, well maintained BLM roads. Look into the Pony Express Historic Byway. That can be fast in places, and when you check maps, you'll find ev en more. I did some Baja running on the edges of the Dugway Proving Ground. It's restricted, but as I said, the edges...flat playa.

Now you have a good excuse to go back to Moab!

I did Texas and Moab. Moab was a lot better than Texas. There were better trails and more rock crawling in Moab. Both were fun.

You need a Raptor and the Vegas BOR - lots of high speed romping!

I did the New Hampshire BOR in September 2021 and the terrain is all woods & rocks (typical northeast) so I don’t believe that location will scratch your itch. 👍🏼

Well they do have a high speed track in Texas.
The wife was driving (not over 25mph 🤥 ) she was grinning from ear to ear, and I was having a blast too.

We've done Moab and half day in Vegas. Not the raptor course.
The Moab trail was our favorite of the two.

I have been to them all other than New Hampshire (going May 23rd) so here’s my take.

Tennessee:
This has been my favorite so far. The actual trails and obstacles here were the best. It also is the most like what I have available to me in SEMO. They had only been operating about a month before I went so they were still cutting new trails and testing things out so it was cool to be a part of that. Rented a cabin for a few days on top of a mountain and enjoyed the scenery. Only downside is depending on when you go the area can be extremely busy.

Texas:
This is the OG Off-Roadeo and it’s very apparent. I’d say this is the most well rounded. The instructors here love Bronco and are proud of what they’re doing there. This would be the best place to go with a larger group or for someone with little to no experience off road as you see just about every kind of terrain. Plus hidden falls is maybe 20-30 minutes away. Only downside with this location are the people going from Texas. So as long as you don’t mind hearing about how great Texas and all things from Texas are every 5-10 minutes you’ll love it haha.

Moab:
The American Southwest is my favorite part of the country. Moab can’t be beat when it comes to views, off roading and just an all around good time had in your Bronco. The Off-Roadeo was great. Not as much slick rock as I was expecting to do but I had already spent a week in Moab before hand so I had so I had been on plenty. The instructors here love the area and the history of the area. They’re a great source for finding those little hidden gems in the Moab area that only locals would know. Frankie Muniz was there shooting with Ford the day I was there so it was cool to get to do this with him and the Ford team. I can’t think of any downsides to this one. This is the one I would pick if I could only go to one!

Vegas:
It’s fine. The location is super close to the city and Raptor Valley is pretty cool. Not much in terms of trails or obstacles. Spent most of the day on washed out roads. Unless you just really love Vegas though id pick one of the others. This seems like the location for the “city slickers” folks who want to go drive on dirt one time for the day then go back to their resorts and spend the rest of the time on the strip or at the swim up bar in the resort.

All in all you won’t have a bad time at any of them. They all offer something unique and all have different cultures, histories and opportunities that differ from the others. I’m excited to check out New Hampshire as I’ve never been to the Northeast so excited to explore there and be able to give feedback for all the location's.

My, you're quite the connoisseur of Off-Roadeos! Thanks for the overview.

Not familiar with Tennessee, I'm speculating you'll find NH somewhat similar: wooded trails which often hide the views, lots of rocks and hopefully mud. New England rocks are glacial debris, so they're of varying size and placement, sometimes offering a real challenge to your wheeling skills. Not much slickrock, but you might encounter some interesting ledges to negotiate.

Seeing as you like exploring the surroundings, understand that NH has "Class 6 roads" and the equivalent in Vermont, "Class IV" roads. These are legal byways which are considered abandoned by towns and counties: no maintenance or patrol. They're unpredictable and exciting. You might hit a washout you can handle, or have to turn back. Fallen trees. Very rocky sections where the dirt (mud) and small rocks have been washed away, leaving a field of bowling balls and larger. You'll need Gaia or onX. They may bulldoze a washout for drainage purposes, but don't take your Subaru there.

I just discovered this:

Lots to do. And if you pass through or near Boston, DM me and we can meet up! (That's an invitation open to all Bronco owners.)

As a Texan we are taught in a group setting to never ask a person where they are from, Because if they were from Texas they would have already told you, and if they ain't from Texas, you wouldn't want to embarrass them. LOL.

We can be an obnoxious lot but it is because many Texans have never left the state, it is about the same drive for someone in El Paso to go to San Diego as it is to get to Corpus Christi, and an hour and a half longer to get to Beaumont, than Cali.

An Alaskan was bragging about his state, not realizing that a man in the conversation was a Texan, who was feeling despondent. "Problem there, friend?"
"Well, it's still kind'a hurts that we're only the 2nd largest state," he admitted.
"Tell you what," said the Alaskan. "We'll cut Alaska in half, and Texas can be the 3rd largest state!"

😕 I'll let myself out.
