Went for an adventure on the Texas Hill Country Trail this past Saturday with one of my buds. He’s a Jeep owner but nobody’s perfect😂. Started out in Spicewood where we ran into some Bronco owners at the gas station heading to the Off Roadeo in Horseshoe Bay. Hope you guys and gals had fun! Perfect weather for no tops or doors. Off roading is a no-no on this trek as the roads are surrounded by the purple line of ‘stay the heck out’. But we got to drive through three distinct climate zones as we made our way west and up to the high part of the hill country. Deer, roadrunners, cows and goat stampedes abound. Loved the parts where cell phones stopped working and the only radio station was the silky smooth sounds of AM910, The Rebel😂👍. The James River Road was a dusty, beautiful stretch with a proper river crossing and the highlight of the drive. Saw a fellow Bronco family posted up out there as well. Did the whole 150 miles in one day with a stop for proper pit BBQ in Mason. Highly recommend and will certainly run it again.
