The majority of the companies making Bronco hard tops only have 4-door versions for now, mainly because the 2-door Bronco came with a hard top from factory. However, as long as Ford keeps manufacturing the 2-door version, 2-door owners may be so lucky to have additional choices. One company listed below already has plans to produce a 2-door top.

As a reminder, you can order an OEM 4-door molded-in-color (MIC) top from Ford for $4,995 (+$350 dealer installation or shipping rates apply). Armadillo Designs Hard Tops for 2021+ 2- and 4-Door Ford Broncos

Located in Texas, Armadillo Designs began as a California startup founded in 2019 by Sam Hunt and Fabian Araujo. Their hard top prototype was named a top 15 semi-finalist for SEMA’s 2022 Launch Pad. There, they met Jon Parrella, owner and CEO of Texas Fabrication Company, and a partnership was formed.

You can frequently find the Armadillo Designs crew out at Bronco events, off-roading and spending time with the community.

Armadillo Designs offers a 2-door hard top and two versions of a 4-door hard top for the 2021+ Ford Bronco. These tops are designed as a “permanent” installation: The shell stays on, but you can remove roof panels, gullwings and the rear hatch for full safari mode. Both versions of the top are highly customizable, have pre-installed rivnut locations for accessory mounting points, and feature a rear hatch that sits 10% higher than the OEM for more access to the cargo area. Additionally, both tops offer 2” of additional headroom.

Slant Back Hard Top (4-door only) –– Crafted in 100% rigid aluminum, this top has a heavily angled slant at the rear.
