Front passenger side top airbag cover

Anyone else have this? I noticed a couple days after getting my bronco from the dealership the trim piece covering the airbag on the passenger side is not all the way in, and I can’t seem to push it in any further. Any tips or should I just take it in?

I would suggest letting the dealership look after the issue.

I have removed and reinstalled and it remained the same.

I’m not really concerned about it, just a bit annoyed that I spent > $60k on a car and it has cheap trim that’s not aligned. Will probably take it in and see what they say.

The $38K Base has that same trim piece.
No salt tram towers were harmed in the making of this post...

Hopefully after driving it for a while and getting it out off road it won’t bother you too much anymore. These things are beasts!

Yeah you gotta remember a lot of that $60 k is in the stuff that makes these things amazing off-roaders and really great on road vehicles. If it had all the soft touch and fancy interior it would be priced like a high end Defender or G Wagon.

And air shocks those things are always crapping out.

"Over $60k" was my first thought. Keep us posted if you decide to take it in.

This isn’t an issue, it is how they are. Probably for easier release of the side curtain airbags

Hey! I’m having the same problem as you. Mines a 2024 outerbanks Sasquatch and the passenger side trim is popped out. I agree even though it’s not a big deal when you still pay over 60,000 on a vehicle it’s annoying. I was wondering if you ended up taking it to the dealership and if anything got resolved.
