Hi BronconNation Fam. Anybody else break through the 70K, 80, 100K Miles?
We have broken through 70K on a 2021 2.3 Black Diamond Automatic.
Has been universally outstanding. (Save for Lingering Soft Top Anger)
We rotate tires and do an oil change 3K Miles.
Running 285-70-17 Wildtracks and have almost 60k Miles on them on RTR 17's.
Use on highway and Sloppy, Snowy, Rutted Muddy Mountain road so gets dirty regularly just for work.
Off Pavement 45% of the time.
Just did Transmission and Transfer Case Fluids.
All seems great.
Love to hear some opinions.
Does this feel like a "forever"Bronco... or do we need to do some deep contemplation about disposal?
FYI: If we do, next ride will 100%. be another 6G.
Love to hear some opinions.
Thx!

We are at just over 40k on our late arrival MY22, we said from the beginning this will be a forever Bronco to us. Once it’s paid off we will get another one. Looking to get a 2-door badlands Mansquatch in Desert Sand and adding a snorkel and winch and make a baby Everglades.

Every vehicle I've owned—all Ford—I've driven to somewhere between 250,000 - 300,000 miles... except for the one that got crushed by an oak tree. (Disappointed in that Focus for ruining my streak, but I guess it gets a pass since it got turned into a pancake.)

I am also generally allergic to car loans. So usually by the time I'm done with them... something broke that cost $1500 to replace, but the car itself is only worth $1000.

So... I'm obviously gonna say: KEEP GOING! Usually if you take care of the car, the car will take care of you. 👍

My wife and I decided to keep our 2022 for at least another 5 years. I also have soft-top anger, but I fixed that by ordering a Turn Offroad hardtop this week. I did everything I can to improve the soft top, but it just kept letting me down. Now I have a tear in the rear passenger window because I DARED to open the softop when it was 28 degrees out. Turn Offroad has free shipping right now, so I pulled the trigger.

I'm at like 64k miles (bought with 45k).
I'm planning on this being a forever one, with the idea that once it's paid off, it might graduate from daily status & become more built with less on-road convenience.

This is why I was happy when it was announced the 2-dr Gen 6 was hardtop only. I owned a Jeep YJ soft top for 14 years, which in the winter it is near impossible to keep the vinyl windows scratch-free AND clean. With the YJ, we just removed the top for the summer and kept a trail cover on it. But the YJ soft top comes off in 5 minutes with no tools. Yet the windows were just a PITA.

This year (year 3 of ownership) the Bronco's top comes off for the summer season. I bought the Broncover trail cover when I got my Bronco in 2022 but haven't yet even unboxed it. 🤣🤣🤣

I hope the Turn Offroad top turns out awesome for you.
No salt tram towers were harmed in the making of this post...

Forever Bronco???
My mind say No…but my heart says Hell yes!!!

Just the reason you own RTR wheels separates you from the average enthusiast… Vaughn Gittin is a stand up Ford mfg. and his parts speak for themselves… He is not some “influencer”, he is a legit player in the aftermarket industry… that’s why Ford put their eggs in his basket…
And, he is a genuine nice person…

Anyway, modern vehicles are functional communities… with a half-life on their longevity…
However, our Broncos might be the exception… they actually have an enthusiastic following that very much places a real value on these things… this might explain the resurgence of Gen. 1 (Coyote swapped) Broncos with 6 figure sales….who knows?

In the meantime get a hard top and keep up with the methodical maintenance and put 200-250 K “Life Loving” miles on your Bronco… enjoy what you have!!! It’s a great car!!!

65K on my daily driver '22 2 door Badlands Sasquatch. Original tires, rotate and oil change every 5K. Brake pads look good for another 65K. Shocks are getting a little tired, but I'm waiting for the recall to get new ones. Windshield has taken a beating, need a new one but I know as soon as I get one installed I'll get stuck behind a gravel truck.
