What Is The Max Amp Draw The OEM Front And Rear Fog Light Circuits Will Support?

As the title states, I'm interested in what amp load the OEM circuits will support. From what I gather there are no fuses for these circuits?

To be clear I am asking about the fog light circuits controlled by the headlight switch.

Does anyone know the rated watt output of the stock Ford front fog lights and the euro spec single rear light?

I want to control my ditch lights (40W for the pair) and front fog lights (48W for the pair) with the Euro-spec (front and rear fogs) headlight switch. One pair controlled by front switch and other by the rear switch.

Wanting to know when it's safer to just use the headlight switch to activate an add on relay to provide power to aftermarket lights?

No electrician here, so can't answer your questions. Perhaps the attached Bronco fog light shop manual's wiring diagram will help.

Thanks for the info but it doesn't help with the question I asked,

I attacked my question from a different direction

It seems the stock (non LED) fog lights take H10 halogen bulbs. Which are rated at 42 watts a piece.

So the circuit should be capable of handling at least an 84 watt (or a roughly 7 amp) draw.

Here're the front fogs we've run couple years.
