Hi, When I try to re-install my soft top, when it is on the mounting brackets, there is a uniform gap of about an inch between the body and the base of the soft top. There is no way there is enough adjustment in the brackets to fix this. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? This is the first time I've tried to put it back on and its not as easy as I'd hoped!

Do you have the side bolts removed so the top can be bolted in place as designed?

Check to make sure that the soft top bracket is seated all the way down on the pins on the mounting bracket.

The bolts that were originally in teh mounting bracket behind the cover in the storage area? yes. I have not put the bolts that secured the hard top back in...they are in the glovebox. THere does not appear to be anything holding it up...but there must be...

Yes. I had to lever them down a bit, but could get all the holes to line up...and it was still about an inch over the body sides....
