Ford Can't fix your Vehicle.

A lot of you have probably watched this. It has interesting info. about the way trucks are engineered, the time they give to fix, and how the repair times are never updated. Ford also leads the industry in recalls roughly 3-1. On a F-150 you have to change the trans gasket they get 36 minutes. On the new trucks they have to jack up the cab to do this. Takes about 6 hours, if I remember right, so the mechanic gets dumped on. I know this is the internet, so some of this may be lies. If there are any mechanics out there it would be great to hear from you about the accuracy of this video.

Hmm makes you think. But not sure why they have to lift the cab to do a oil pan gasket and they show in the video that they just have to remove a cross member, so still a tad skeptical. But I know with the 6.0L powerstrokes they lifted the cab to do most repairs so it is possible, but that was mostly head gasket work. but it does seem there is a shortage of auto Mechanics and it is not just a Ford deal.
