I just realized that I should put that you need.The stock rock sliders to use these.I don't think they work without em. In fact i'm positive they don't. So I think that's basically any sasquatch package badlands, wild track, I don't think you put em on the raptor because they have their own special ones Or if you add them later.
Just thought I'd make a quick post. I bought some cheap steps off Amazon. I was gonna get the brand name version, but I really didn't want any to begin with. It was mostly for my family and friends. And I really liked the flag design on these, and i'm a cheap bastard and after many years I feel like ive got a decent handle on what I can cheap out on amd what you need to pay more for, but they install easy. Just the quality was lacking only a tiny bit on one of the threads but you could take em on and off in less than a minute, just some thumb screws
i will say if you order these. I think it was like 80 bucks for 2 or 160 for 4. I only got two cause I don't care even though I have a four door but be careful, because one of the bolt holes that the thumb screws went into wouldn't work from the top.I went from the backside and it did go through basically.The first couple threads were messed up.It looked like whatever coating they had had gotten in there.But even without that, I think some of the threads were messed up A
t the very top.
luckily, I have a super cheap tap and die kit. I got from autozone in like 2010 and I've never been able to use it because it never had the right size until now. And I was actually able to use it to clean out the threads and make it work. So it was nice that that kit finally did something for me.But otherwise they seem to work good.They seem to hold tight and support a lot of weight at least for now ill post if they fail in any way. So hopefully my family and friends will quit bitchin that it's hard to get in my car.
oh one note they make you think you can slide them anywhere if you have the stock rock sliders, but there's a couple brackets that get in the way of a few spots. But otherwise you can move them, mostly where you want.
