Hello all! I am a new 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands Sasquatch owner. Well, I don't have the BS in physical possession yet, but it's ordered. 😍 I can't wait for the delivery and look forward to getting deep into the Idaho mountains to see what the BS is capable of. I've been eyeing the BS for many years now, and with the new interior and exterior updates, it was an easy purchasing decision. To get ahead of delivery, I'm trying to learn more about the BS through YT videos and BN Forums. I'm wondering if any BS owners are in Idaho who would like to connect and learn from each other. Additionally, I plan on taking my new BS on a few sections of the Idaho Backcountry Discovery Route this year, but not the whole route in the same year. If you are a BS owner and would be interested in driving the Idaho BDR, I would love to connect with you. Cheers! 🐴 ⛺

Welcome to Bronco Nation, @PremierAdventures! I hope your wait goes by quickly. Thankfully, Ford has been delivering Broncos to owners much quicker than when they were first introduced. Mine took 14 months and others waited much longer. They are well worth the wait!

You’re doing right by learning as much as possible before taking one home. I don’t do social media apart from this site and YouTube and I’m none the worse for it, but those avenues are available if you’re interested. Please feel free to share photos of your Bronco Sport when it arrives and then when you head out to explore the Idaho countryside and beyond!
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

It’s not having what you want. It’s wanting what you have.

Thanks @BuckYeah! Looking forward to getting really familiar so I can just jump in and go-go-go. Already looking at some accessories to get as well—roof rack, roof top tent, Dometic electric cooler, Starlink mini, etc. Plan to share photos after my summer trips.

That’s cool. Normally, I would suggest you (or anyone) establish a need for something before acquiring it, but you seem to have a pretty good idea of what you want to do and achieve. Just do a lot of research, read reviews, network with people before spending any money. That way, you’ll have what you need when the time comes but not have a lot of useless, superfluous gear that won’t ever come into use.

Great to see that you are picking up a super capable vehicle and that you will be one of the first members to pick one up. Take a look at any of the numerous posts by @Melissa Clark. She not only is a trail guide, but Ford’s Bronco Sport Ambassador and is a Rebelle Rally competitor. She does it all in the Sport and knows about as much as anyone regarding the capabilities of the Bronco Sport Badlands Sasquatch! Congratulations and welcome to the BN!

Welcome to the Nation, @PremierAdventures that Sasquatch BS should get you places lots of folks can’t get to. It is amazing once the back road off-road bug gets ahold of you how much more of the world you get to see.

@TK1215 Thanks for the info! "Great to see that you are picking up a super capable vehicle and that you will be one of the first members to pick one up." I will be sure to post a lot of my experiences and photos where I take it.

@Jakob1972 Thanks! I'm afraid that off-road bug might lead me into a deeper rabbit hole quicker than I would like by getting the bigger Bronco sooner than later. Hahaha!

@Unicorn I'll have to check that out! Thanks!

@PremierAdventures

FBI (Ford Broncos of Idaho) has a run coming up in two weeks... Running lost trail. FYI

March 29 meeting at 2:00.... Probably not the best run for a sport.... I do not know about SASQ sport.... there will be a number of full size Broncos there... Not the hardest run but does need some clearance in a couple of spots... Lots of bypasses for the easy route.... NOW for the sport I think Mike is going to lead some people over to Wilson creek... Same meet up place and time I think... Sport would do Wilson creek easy.

Welcome to the tribe, @PremierAdventures !
Although I have not owned a Bronco Sport, I have owned both a 23 Escape and a 25 Maverick, and they all share very similar cockpits… You will love the long and skinny screen, and the Bronco Sport is a VERY capable four wheeler… You should receive a coupon for Bronco OffRodeo, and I cannot recommend it enough… I attended in Moab, but I don’t believe there is a bad location anywhere.

One of the Bronco Nation staff, Melissa Clark, is (IMHO) the premier expert when it comes to the Bronco sport… She has numerous off-road racing championships to her name driving a Bronco Sport (look up Rebelle Rally) and the best part is she is always ready and willing to share.

Southern Idaho has lots to offer for an off-roader, and I have no doubt you’ll find plenty of kindred spirits willing to run the trails with you…

Again, welcome!

Who would have thought so many fellow Boise BS'rs. I constantly look at the Bronco Nation events for the Idaho/Oregon area to find like minded Bronco Sport owners. Looks like a new group can be founded based on all the Boise input. Sounds like a meet and greet at the new Bronco Offroad Kendall facility is in order.

Bronco Sports owners would love to hear more from Mike on a run for our vehicles. Any chance of setting that up?
