Low fuel warning issue on the 2024 Bronco Sport?

Hi All,

Have any of you had the low fuel warning light come on stating you have 50 miles to go, then literally a mile further have 3 miles to go? Is there a software update for this?

Welcome!!

The mileage remaining is simply an estimate based on driving conditions. If you suddenly start driving a little more aggressively the estimated remaining mileage will drop. If you drive more conservatively you'll notice that you can drive farther than the estimate.

There is simply a sensor in the tank that tries to estimate the amount of fuel you have in the vehicle. It can be affected by hills and other things that make the fuel move around in the tank.
