NOCO XConnect System

I saw in another thread that a Bronco owner was told by their dealer that they had altered their battery, and they were on the hook for a replacement. That got me thinking, has anyone had issues with the NOCO battery tender XConnect system? I have used the system previously and have not had any issues, but I feel like they sometimes look for anything to deny warranty claims. On a recent trip, I was told by the dealer I have always done business with that my Airforce RV braking system "might void the warranty" even though I have had it installed on two vehicles and have never had a problem.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

From what I've read, heard, and considered, I think the absolute safest option is to make NO real changes under the hood until the 3-year warranty is up. Heck, I got scared out of simply adding a K&M air filter and oil filter after someone said that a dealership considered them warranty-affecting "vehicle modifications" (due to the air flow and oil flow tuning, etc.). I wouldn't risk it if it was me -- just use the alligator clips for now.
