Question - I've got a radardetector/camera mounted on my dash. It will record events if somebody hits your car..for 4 or 8 hours after you stop. But, it needs to be hardwired to the battery. how do you run wires from the battery to the rear-view mirror. Any easy way to do it?

I saw a video on this site about wiring something else but it had to be wired from the battery. it showed step by step how to run the wiring through the firewall. i think it was for lighting but should be about the same as a hardwired radar detector and camera. I had to order new wiring for my camera and radar detectoe so I could hook them up to the c ports in the center console. good luck

I have the wolfbox G900 Pro and it came with add a fuse wire connectors like these so I only needed to run the wiring to the fuse box. I did run the camera wire through the fire wall to my front bumper to add a front trail camera. for that you just find the plug/grommet in the fire wall just below the brake booster, just pop it out drill a small hole in it run the wire through and re-install it from the inside was easier. I also removed the drivers door to make install easier.
