How I installed wench power cables without removing bumper/grill

So I’ve already installed my removable winch plate and needed to install power that could easily be connected to my Warn winch. Here’s a short video showing how I was able to accomplish wiring that’s super easy but also secure from any moving parts and I didn’t even have to remove the grill nor bumper.

Thanks Snoopy Braptor,
Very kind of you to put the vid together and to show us how easy it was done. Much appreciated!

I love it when a wench cooperates.

The crazy part is I noticed the spelling error as soon as I posted but although this app allows edits of the post, it won’t allow edits of the subject line 😵‍💫

Any issue with battery drain? I know that @Roughstock11 had some problems with fuses or his battery when first installed

Thanks for posting this video. Doing things ourselves is both rewarding and gratifying. I did take note of some very specialized tools you used in the process. Some worth having for sure, but I wonder if a tool library might come in handy for those seldom-used tools. Do you really remove the wench when not in use? Is there no way to secure it in a way that makes theft impractical?

Gotcha. Such a bummer when you notice a great post has been botched with a typo or spelling error--especially when it's possibly controversial, say, a political post.

You do seem to have the Oxford coma comma alright all right.

I'm using a anderson high-amp quick connect that's only connected when im going to be out playing, so no battery drain issue. I used it yesterday and no fuse issues and i only use it while the truck is running because i dont want to take any chance of it making the Ford battery monitoring system think that something is wrong. Was he having fuse issues within the winch or the truck itself?
