Yes, Jesus is coming! But not that good news! For those of you that only read the latest posts but don’t dig deeper into all of the News, Events and all the other BN categories, threads and posts that are available, there is a chance for you that have some time, to get out and hit the road on 3/28-3/30. There is a Bronco Nation Base Camp coming up for all of us. It will be two nights and three days of hanging out, hitting the trails and breaking bread with other BN members in beautiful Moab, UT at the Red Cliffs Lodge. So jump over to the News section and take a look at the post “Registration Open for Bronco Basecamp in Moab 2024”. The price is definitely right and you will get tremendous bang for your buck! Hope to see you there!

I’ve seen that and wish I could go, but a 32 hour drive kind of puts a damper on that. I mean I could fly and rent a pinto, but who would want to go there without their own Bronco? I hope everyone has fun and think of us easterners as y’all buck the trails!

I should have mentioned that I am planning to attend SUPER CELEBRATION EAST - TOWNSEND, TN. More information can also be found in the event section of Bronco Nation as TK1215 mentions in the OP.

Indeed, Great news! And more good news. Too bad my co-pilot works for a CPA and this is during tax season. Definitely a bucket list item and would for sure go a different time of year if it were done again. 32 hours each way would be a nice adventure.

There's also the Solar eclipse Off-Rodeo in Texas on April 8th. If my co pilot didn't have to work tax season this would be a great 2 for 1 road trip

I thought about the Texas one, but way too expensive. I can do Moab with BN for $100 for me and the wife an additional guests for $75 each or go to Texas with Ford for up to three guests for $1995. My wife said this was a no brainer. She said let’s spend the $100 and hang with the BN family. Can’t argue with logic….🤣

Yeah, but if you have 4 people it's not that bad. Unless I'm misreading I think it's the same cost for 1 as it is for up to 4. I would definitely do the one day option if I weren't having to drive 5k miles round trip solo and use so much vacation time. I'm curious if one could fly out and use an Off-Rodeo rig.

Believe me, I would be there if I wasn't moving the weekend before and getting settled into my new digs (and getting my Bronco ready in time for my next adventure). Timing is everything. 😉

All that said, I firmly believe that anyone who owns a Bronco (or anyone expecting to take delivery) will feel right at home in the Bronco family. We all share the same spirit of adventure. Getting involved is the first step of the process, and as everyone knows, the first step is the hardest. But having taken that first step, I can assure everyone that it gets better and better. And it gets better quickly!
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

It’s not having what you want. It’s wanting what you have.

I say the more the Blue Oval sees the draw and value of these things the better for the whole of the community and corporate support can't hurt. I can say from decades of club experience that being present and having conversations as enthusiasts with the likes of Shelby American, Saleen, Ford you get more of an open ear and mind for feedback, creating traction then all the emails, letters forum posts ect in the world.

Everyone says Moab is really beautiful. I was talking with a cowboy friend today and he is going to show me a road on the map we should check out. Not sure who told him about it or what it is about but is sounds interesting.

Yes, the calendar can be deceiving; we still have spots left for the full Basecamp! We're looking forward to seeing friends in Moab, and then next in Tennessee! And for those thinking about/going to the eclipse experience at Texas Off-Roadeo, I can't wait to hear about that/see pictures.

Sorry @TK1215 but I gotta call click bait on this post. I came in here thinking you were going to tell me that Ford will now be offering a V8 in Bronco! But I was bamboozled. 😣

My buddies dad is a in the off road hall of fame for cart building. His son, my friend, is an experienced Baja racer and cart builder himself. After he drove my Raptor I was telling him about the Jeep V8 and he said he wouldn't buy my Bronco in a V8 even if it came in a V8 version. Too heavy. The V6 is perfect. Just food for thought. You can see my friend driving his dad. I saw him yesterday. Fun talking off road.
