Electrical Issues Persist

I have owned my Bronco coming up on four years. Six months after receiving it an electrical issues impacting ABS, Park Aid, Hill Start Assist, and Pre-Collision Assist showed up. First thought was a wheel speed sensor that showed bad. It was replaced and the problem came back within a month. Then a few loose pins were found in a connector off the engine bay harness. Those were tightened. Problem came back. Found more pins that were loose. Those were tightened. Problem came back. Did this one more time and the problem still came back. After the third time the entire harness was replaced. After a long wait to get the part, the dealership was sent a faulty part. Waited a little longer. The correct harness was installed and things seemed good. Then in December, the issue reaappeared. This time though I was out of warranty. The same wheel speed sensor that tested bad oringally and was replaced tested bad again. It was replaced. Had the vehicled less than 15 minutes and the problem came back. More testing determined it was the ABS module. Part got to the dealer, was installed, but didn't fix the problem. A new connector was ordered (not sure which one to be honest with you). It was installed last week and after 2 months got the Bronco back. So far everything is working. Still working on what Ford is willing to do to help ease my mind moving forward. I was offered a power train warranty, which is no good as that wouldn't even cover the issue and my dealer already provided a lifetime power train warranty. I have a case number with Ford but curious if anyone else has had this type of problem. So far, I have been able work with through things but really worried the problem will come back since it is electrical. Any thoughts? The dealer has been great to work with and the Ford rep I have been dealing with has been pretty good as well. Just think there is something that Ford can do other than a power train warranty that wouldn't even cover what my issue is.

I personally don't have advice or commentary on what else could be offered, but I'm glad you have a great dealer. That sounds frustrating and the opposite of confidence-inspiring.

It has been frustrating. Absolutely love the vehicle but I am really struggling with holding onto it if I can't get some kind of coverage. If it were a new problem, different story. Really put this out there to see if anyone else has dealt with this or mine is unique.

While not on my Bronco, I had repetitive electrical issues on my 2023 Escape. After 6 returns to the dealership (like you, dealer and service was great), i initiated a Lemon Law buyback. My warranty was going to end. The process was amazingly easy and without argument.

That is what I am struggling with. I don't want to get rid of the vehicle. I just want it to work, but if I can't trust it. It's a conundrum.

I had that happen to my 2019 F150. After about six months of in and out of the dealer, they found that some of the wires were loose and not connected. I would mention to them to check the whole wire harness through out the vehicle.
