I have a 2022 Bronco Badlands and looking at updating in 2026, does anyone know if Ford is doing anything on the 2026 models to recognize the 60 years of the Bronco?

100% they will do something - but, no public info (yet)

I am hopeful to see a Big Oly edition!
- 2023 Raptor / Shadow Black / MGV (DOB 8/30/23)
- 2023 Heritage Limited Edition / Robin’s Egg Blue / 4dr / (stolen from my dealer 11/15/23)

The question should be IF ford is still in business and IF they are still building Broncos...

Probably be an expensive tape and wheel package on top of being over priced.

Probably make it fugly? I would normally anticipate a full reboot after 5 years but given all the delays, recalls, ect. they may just keep riding the current wave.

Big Oly?!? Maybe pull from the various one-offs that were never produced on the first gen, Boss (a 302 would be a MUST though), Dan Gurney, Shelby. They could take inspiration from @Unicorn . I wouldn't mind a Tremor Bronco nicely appointed and a little more sporty. A hardtop that isn't rejected cardboard would be a plus!!

I will put money down that you will not see a V8 or Portals.... It is probably going to be something they can put together with parts on hand that incorporates a unique feature or two (for the grouping) and a graphics package... I think that makes Big Oly as possible as the Strope... maybe it is just a unique 60ith.... They will have something that upcharges for a unique combination, But anything new? I am betting against that.

By 2026, it would be 40 years of the Bronco if you deduct the 25 years Ford didn't produce one. 😜

I think the current Bronco is due for a refresh in 2026. It will be interesting to see how they update the sheet metal, in particular. I like the look of my 2023, but I'm open to see how it evolves.
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

It’s not having what you want. It’s wanting what you have.

I bet Everglades fenders are standard, maybe add the snorkel as an option for 2.3l, a 60th Anniversary with the 3.0L motor and HOSS 3.0, Oh and a new grey color will be offered they will call it Purple Grayze.

Square fenders for the win! A 3.0 would be nice... but I am skeptical. HOSS 3 absolutely will be offered. And your new grey? LOL

2027 MY is my guess. There were slight changes for 2025 MY, more evolution than complete refresh. I wouldn't be surprised if they finally get the hybrid powertrain worked out and into the vehicle by then. I think it needs to be plug in hybrid to make full sense. The Explorer hybrid powertrain was awful. I drove one for a few weeks and the shift between electric and gas was abrupt, not smooth, and the vehicle didn't have great fuel economy even when really being light on the pedal.

I had a bunch of gun guys argue Ruger would never produce a left hand 1022, not enough to justify , let the left handers learn to shoot the wrong way etc, guess what? Ruger makes a left hand 1022.
Jeep has a V-8 Wrangler why can't Ford have a V-8 Bronco?

I do like the Everglade fenders (square) but otherwise I wouldn’t change much… maybe more options for a manual transmission with a 2.7. The modification options and accessories available make it one of the funnest rigs on the planet to own.

I fully agree, but I can dream. Most likely a cheeseball graphics package that they call a different trim. Or a combination of options otherwise not all available on any one trim level.

It's like when I see anniversary camaros and laugh because they keep retiring them due to lack of interest.

I expect a 60th Anniversary with rubber floors, drain holes, stickshift transferecase, manual locking hubs, and a "7-on-the-tree" manual transmission.

Even more theft proof. They even confused people that knew how to drive manuals.

But a little chlorox in the gene pool never hurts.

Ford is full of let downs, they teased us with a SVT Fusion that never happened.
