Howdy everyone, I was just wondering if anyone from the community is going to the Texas Bronco Off Roadeo on 13 June 2026. Also, I'm particularly interested if anyone has any suggestions like what to bring, things to do in the area, etc. etc. I plan to be there and I'm excited to see what they offer.

As far as the recommended place to stay, the Horsehoe Bay Resort seems a bit ridiculous. While the place appears to be nice, they really want $2000 for two nights, a shuttle to take me to the event, and breakfast -- at least, that's what the lady quoted me when I called. I decided to stay at one of the hotels in Marble Falls. Apparently, there's something going on in the area that weekend, and it's causing all the hotels to increase their prices... but still not to the level of the "recommended hotel."

Many thanks!

I've stayed at Horseshoe Bay, and it's really nice, but the real experience for me is Off-Roadeo, so I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

I'd bring a small backpack with your essentials (medication, sunglasses, sunblock, phone charger, etc.). They have snacks and water available throughout the day, but it doesn't hurt to bring a few things you like. Wear sturdy boots and bring a hat, wear clothes that feel comfortable if it is hot, and save some room in your suitcase/Bronco for merch!

Don't be shy about calling out answers to your guide's questions, too, so you can get special stickers.

Awesome, thanks for the response! Instead of dropping that dough on the resort, I plan to spend that much on Bronco merch. 😊

Check out this link. There is a lot to do in the area. Longhorn Cavern is awesome and takes about half a day. And, go by Blue Bonnet Cafe. You will not be disappointed.
