I have the deflector directly on my hood, no ppf… love the deflector, but not sure how securely it would secure to ppf, especially if you live in wind country…

Thanks yeah, I had one on my last Bronco without the paint shield that's why I am wanting another deflector.

Mine is attached over PPF, no problems after 12 months.

Hi everyone hoping that you had a great weekend. My Bronco came with the paint protective film on it...hood fenders and mirrors. I want to install the Ford hood deflector which is applied to the hood by 3 m tape. Has anyone done this with out any issues? I am concerned about the film ripping up and the defector flying off. Thank you in advance and if it was cover before oh well. Wayne

I have one that was on my F150 and it blew off at 80 miles an hour (halfway, at least)… pulled the remaining off and there was really no residue or damage under the deflector.

Has anyone ever taken this cover off to see if or what damage it has caused?

Hi I took it off of my first bronco when I sold it. The new owners did want it. No issue a little adhesive residue but clean with alcohol no damage to paint.

What product would keep this and the fenders looking new? Someone mentioned Chemical Guys but they have so many products to choose from. Any advice?

Bronco is almost 2 yrs old. No chips on the hood, zero, zip, nada, but I do have chips on the windshield pillars. Go figure.
