I've been getting a lot of DMs on how to correctly apply changes in FORScan to change the Bronco's audio system. So... since weather prevented me from doing what I wanted to do (install my subwoofer)... I opted to create a video on how to do it!

Note this video is for the Base sound system for 2021-2023 (and probably later). The B&O system included in the Lux package has a different configuration

Been so long since I did this stuff that I don't remember what I did. Nice to see someone post the info just for the audio configurations. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing - I'd love to find something similar for the B&O system!

Might want to cover the HW ANC and fake engine noise on the Lux, a lot of people seem to have trouble with that. There are a couple of different places it has to be applied.

Ayup. Part of their "Active Noise Cancelation" is to introduce "more pleasing" noises to drown out the less pleasing ones. It's done in the HW ANC on the higher end models.

Heh... I had no idea Ford did that on the "normal" gasoline engines... thought it was reserved for Ford Performance vehicles like the Braptor and hybrids. The cake is a lie.
Anyway, I'd like to do a video on the B&O audio setup—just need a few hours to map out the DSP configs to the Bronco—but... I don't have access to a Lux Bronco.

is it something we could do virtually? I have forscan on a laptop and a Lux Badsquatch in the garage...

I don’t see why not. Let me know when you have some free time!
The big question mark is the DSP. I’m familiar with Ford’s high-end audio systems they used back when they had the contract with Sony (pre-2018), but I’ve never had any personal experience with the B&O systems.

I have a 2023 with the rear sub.
I have replaced the rear speakers with 6.5" and replaced the sub with a 8" kicker. I also have the kicker key 200.4.
What do I need to change to get better sound to the rear pods?

Got the same setup. Quick question. When you turn the EQ off does that disable the Bass, Midrange and Treble settings on the radio? If they are not disabled do you turn settings all the way back to zero before you run the Kicker 200.4 setup?

It does not disable the settings on the radio. It just disables the EQ that Ford applied to the Bronco (we don't have the ability to change that EQ, it is preprogrammed on a per-vehicle basis).
And yes, I reset the settings on the radio before I ran the Kicker setup. The goal is to have everything that is feeding the Kicker to send a "flat" signal, that way the only thing modifying the signal during the setup process is the Kicker amp itself. After the Kicker setup is complete, you can move the Bass/Mid/Treble settings back to your liking.

Before running the setup what were your settings on Bass Treble and Midrange. All three to the far left? Lol
