Hi all
I had the same problem with not being able to take my 2025 Bronco home after all the paperwork was done. 4 days later the dealership let me sign a release stating I was aware of the recall and I would be resonsible for any accidents or whatever, and that I would bring it in when the solution to the recall was available.

maybe you can ask for the same thing? from what I understand about this recall there has been 12 complaints and maybe 380 inquires about it. noone has been hurt or killed from this. I understand its a safety recall but Cmon man.

That's awesome that they allowed you to do that. I had bought my 2025 a couple weeks before the recall came out, so I call myself lucky. With that being said, I have yet to have any issues with my infotainment system. Curious if anyone else has had an issue since getting their 2025.

In October ordered a 2026 Badlands that arrived at the dealership the day after the recall was issued on the 5th. Last Thursday they were able to install the software fix, and I could finally take it home. They said that they are doing all of the 2026s first, then moving to the 2025s next. I'm betting that happens sometime this week, as long as it is the same software update, and not some special version for the previous years.

Is this the instrument panel cluster update recall? If it is my dealer updated my2025 badlands back in Dec. in talking with them this fix has been out there since late November. I bought my Bronco in Sept and in talking to the dealer they never said anything about doing one model year before the other. That sounds fishy to be honest.

No, this is only for the issue where a module can overheat and shutdown the 12" infotainment screen. This affects the backup camera visibility, thus making it non-compliant with the safety requirement. This recall affects all Broncos with the 12" screen and was issued on March 5th. If yours is affected you will get a notification. You can also go here to check, https://www.ford.com/support/recalls-details/

This one that came out is a new one, similar to the old one and it will look just like the next one too!

My dealership (Redding CA) is now selling both 2025 & 2026 Broncos. They were previously moved to the back of the lot behind the service department, but now they are out on display and for sale
