So you can't get any roof racks standard from Ford on any 4-door Bronco with the 2.7L engine... I think it's a max weight or topheaviness issue? What I'm wondering is would it be a bad idea to manually install an aftermarket one off the Bronco Nation shop or even Amazon. I have a 2025 4-door Badlands Sasquatch with the 2.7L EcoBoost engine and I would really like to have roof racks for it!

No there are lots of folks that have added roof racks. But know this the rack alone could hit your MPGs. And some folks get wind noise from the racks. I personally removed the factory rack so I can take the top off easier and I will never use it. I built a camping trailer if I need to carry that much cargo.
BN 1100, Desert Sand Everglades. Reservation 7/30/20. ordered 1/22/21, reordered 10/15/21 dropped tow and hard top, reordered 3/9/22 changed to Everglades. production date 9/7/22 rescheduled 9/14/22 completed 9/26/22, shipped 10/7/22, arrived 10/31/22, delivered 11/03/22

I was able to order my 2023 OBX 4 door with the roof rack. Weird.

Factory roof racks are available on some 2.7 Broncos in 2026 Build and Price.

Okay thank you, that is good to know. I had wanted to put a Yakima skybox on mine for certain trips, so the roof racks would not stay on there the whole time (so MPG isn't a huge issue in that case). I can see how the wind noise would get pretty bad though.

Depending on your budget, the Trailrax is a good option and I believe is an afternarket product that is approved by Ford.

I wouldn't want to take it off very often, though:

Mine has the optional Pak Rax which really helps with stability and heavier loads, and I actually have less wind noise than I did before.

OEM Goodyear tire noise is another subject!
